Terms of Service
Last updated: Not yet published
These terms govern your use of MyVentry. By creating an account you agree to them.
Draft, not yet in force. This page is a working outline, not a reviewed legal document. Replace it with the generated policy and have it checked before relying on it.
The service
MyVentry provides inventory, order and tool-tracking software delivered over the internet. We may add, change or remove features as the product develops.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for the people you invite into your organisation and for the roles you give them. Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
Free trial
New organisations receive a 14-day trial with no card required. At the end of the trial an active subscription is needed to continue using the service.
Fees and payment
Plans are priced in Botswana Pula and billed monthly or yearly in advance. Payment is made by bank transfer or mobile money, and access continues once we have verified and approved your proof of payment. Prices exclude VAT unless stated.
Plan limits
Each plan carries a limit on the number of inventory items, enforced by the system. Reaching the limit prevents new items being created until you move to a larger plan.
Your data
The business data you enter remains yours. We process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you record.
Acceptable use
Do not use MyVentry to break the law, to store data you have no right to hold, or to attempt to gain access to another organisation's records or to our infrastructure.
Availability
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party outages and factors outside our control can cause downtime. Any service-level commitment must be stated explicitly in the final terms.
Suspension and cancellation
You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or close an account for non-payment or for breach of these terms. The final terms must set out notice periods and what happens to your data afterwards.
Liability
Limitations of liability, warranties and indemnities must be drafted and reviewed by a qualified professional. This draft does not attempt them.
Governing law
These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Botswana. The final terms must confirm the jurisdiction and dispute-resolution process.
